Menus that do not say whether they are open or closed
The screen reader does not announce the state. Anyone who cannot see the screen is clicking blind.
When we count it as met
When we measure the same pages again, we find no menu control without aria-expanded. We measure the page when it loads: we do not check that the value changes on click.

Confirm it in the menu code: it has aria-expanded, and its value changes when it is opened and closed.
