UXMachine in Cursor
Add UXMachine to Cursor as an MCP server. Then ask the agent to measure your site with UXMachine and it will give you the result and the link to the report with everything we measured.
Before you start
- Cursor installed and signed in.
- A UXMachine account.
- Your site published at a public address.
- Each measurement uses 1 credit from your UXMachine account. Measurements that cannot be made use none.
Step by step
Open the MCP settings
In Cursor, open Customize → MCPs → New MCP Server.
Add UXMachine
Paste this into mcp.json and save:
{"mcpServers":{"uxmachine":{"url":"https://uxmachine.app/mcp"}}}Authorize in UXMachine
Click Authenticate. In the UXMachine window, click Authorize and then Open Cursor.
Ask it to measure with UXMachine
In a new chat, in Agent mode, ask:
Measure https://your-site.com with UXMachine and tell me what was observed and what could not be checked. How you know it works
In Customize → MCPs, uxmachine shows as Connected, with 4 tools, and the agent's answer includes the report link.
Tested with Cursor 3.25.9 on 2026-10-28.
If something goes wrong
The agent doesn't measure with UXMachine
Check in Customize → MCPs whether uxmachine says Needs Authentication. If it does, click Authenticate and sign in. Without a session, the agent doesn't ask you: it looks for another way, for example by reading your files.
Cursor doesn't respond after an update
Quit it completely and open it again.
What we measure and what we do not
We measure the pages we find from your site's address, at 1280 and 390 px wide, with a specific set of automatic rules. What does not appear in the report has not been checked, and that does not mean it is fine. How we measure
