UXMUXMachine

Measure your site from Codex

Add UXMachine to Codex with two commands. Then ask Codex to measure your site with UXMachine and it will give you the result and the link to the report with everything we measured.

Four steps · Uses the terminal

Before you start

  • Codex installed, with your session signed in.
  • A UXMachine account.
  • Your site published at a public address.
  • Each measurement uses 1 credit from your UXMachine account. Measurements that cannot be made use none.

Step by step

1

Add UXMachine

In a terminal, type:

codex mcp add uxmachine --url https://uxmachine.app/mcp
2

Authorize in UXMachine

Type

codex mcp login uxmachine

Your browser opens. Sign in with your UXMachine account and click "Authorize".

3

Check that it sees it

Open Codex, type /mcp and check that uxmachine appears as connected (4 tools).

4

Ask it to measure with UXMachine

Copy this sentence and replace the address with your site's:

Do not use the browser or the desktop. Use the medir tool of the uxmachine MCP server to measure https://your-site.com, then estado until it finishes, and tell me what was observed and what could not be checked.

When Codex asks for permission for uxmachine, choose "Allow for this session".

How you know it works

Codex first looks at your site's memory, measures and checks the status until the measurement finishes. It gives you the link to the report and tells you what was observed and what could not be checked.

If you ask for the measurement without naming UXMachine, Codex may use its own browser: that is not a UXMachine measurement. What Codex writes is its model's summary; if it does not match the report, the report is what counts. Tested with Codex CLI v0.164.0 on 27-10-2026.

If something goes wrong

uxmachine does not appear in /mcp

Check with codex mcp list that it is added and run codex mcp login uxmachine again.

Codex uses its browser instead of UXMachine

Press Esc and use the sentence from step 4, which names uxmachine's medir tool.

What we measure and what we do not

We measure the pages we find from your site's address, at 1280 and 390 px wide, with a specific set of automatic rules. What does not appear in the report has not been checked, and that does not mean it is fine. How we measure
