Measure your site from ChatGPT

Connect UXMachine once from ChatGPT's settings. Then ask ChatGPT to measure your site and it will give you the result and the link to the report with everything we measured.

Five steps · No terminal

Before you start

  • A ChatGPT account where you can add custom MCP servers. We have tested it with ChatGPT Plus on the web.
  • A UXMachine account. If you do not have one, create it here.
  • Your site published at a public address.
  • Each measurement uses 1 credit from your UXMachine account. Measurements that cannot be made use none.

Step by step

1

Open ChatGPT's plugins

In ChatGPT, open your profile menu (bottom left) and go to "Settings". In the side menu, open "Plugins" and click "Browse directory". At the top right, click "Add" and choose "Add custom MCP server".

2

Enter the name and the address

In "Name", enter UXMachine. In "Connection", leave "Server URL" and enter this address:

https://uxmachine.app/mcp
3

Leave "OAuth" and confirm

In "Authentication", leave "OAuth". ChatGPT warns that custom MCP servers carry risks: tick "I understand and want to continue" and click "Create as a plugin".

4

Authorize in UXMachine

The first time, a UXMachine window opens and explains what ChatGPT will and will not be able to do. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with your UXMachine account. Then click "Authorize".

5

Ask it to measure

In a new chat, copy this sentence and replace the address with your site's.

Measure https://your-site.com with UXMachine and tell me what was observed and what could not be checked.

If ChatGPT asks for permission to use UXMachine, allow it. The measurement takes a few minutes: ChatGPT will wait and give you the result and the link to the report.

How you know it works

ChatGPT gives you the link to the report and tells you what was observed, on which page and at which width, and what could not be checked and why. The measurement also appears in your UXMachine dashboard.

What ChatGPT writes is its own summary, and it sometimes adds its own recommendation. If it does not match the report, the report is what counts.

If something goes wrong

You do not see "Add custom MCP server"

Your type of ChatGPT account may not allow it. Check ChatGPT's help.

ChatGPT says UXMachine does not support something you asked for, or it stops without the result

It may be using an old list of UXMachine's tools. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins → UXMachine and click "Refresh tools". Then ask for the measurement again in a new chat.

The UXMachine window does not open

Check that your browser did not block the window and try again.

ChatGPT says the measurement could not be made

It will give you UXMachine's reason as it is. Measurements that cannot be made use no credits.

You want to measure a version that is not published yet

From ChatGPT, only public addresses can be measured. To measure a version on your computer before publishing it, use Claude Code: uxmachine.app/en/agents/claude-code

You want to remove access

Removing UXMachine in ChatGPT is not enough: UXMachine still remembers your authorization. To remove it completely, also remove it in your UXMachine account, under My account → Connected agents → "Remove access".

What we measure and what we do not

We measure the pages we find from your site's address, at 1280 and 390 px wide, with a specific set of automatic rules. What does not appear in the report has not been checked, and that does not mean it is fine. How we measure

Prefer not to use ChatGPT? Measure your site from uxmachine.app

UXMachine would like to use Google to measure visits and which ads bring them. Without your permission, we do not load those tools. Details
